I applaud you for taking the first step in searching for a therapist whose values and experience align with your goals. I believe in building a strong rapport with my clients so that you feel at ease in the therapy room and are feeling both heard and understood. My ultimate goal is for you to learn tools that can be used to improve the present problem and can also be applied in day-to-day life so that you are able to handle any difficulties when they present themselves. You can be assured that I will walk with you through this journey. Together, we can work through any struggles, hurdles, or bumps in the road to improve your quality of happiness and meet your objectives for therapy.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults individually as well as couples and families. I assist clients with anxiety, depression, stress and coping, interpersonal dilemmas, parenting dilemmas, relationship communication, conflict resolution, and developing greater connection and intimacy with loved ones. My particular areas of interest include couples and families who are struggling with substance abuse, as well as families who want help navigating the valleys of life.

Credentials

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Florida in 2019 and am currently enrolled in the Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program at USF. I am also pursuing a certificate in Substance Abuse Counseling. During my time at USF, I have also had the distinct privilege of obtaining several leadership roles in different programs within my college.
My passion for therapy began in high school and that same passion still exists today. I spent the past twenty years in the construction industry, however, I always found myself drawn to getting to know people on a deeper level and often times talking through with people the struggles that they were facing. These moments not only brought me joy, but are what made the decision to walk away from my previous career and pursue this passion an easy one. I believe that our history provides us with lessons and our future provides us with opportunities to use those lessons. I look forward to hearing from you.
